Event rules for parents and organisers

To make the party safe and enjoyable for children and the dog, please read these rules before booking.

Before the event

  • Before the event, the host must be informed if any child has an allergy to animals, a pronounced fear of dogs, or special needs that may affect participation in the activities.
  • The children's age, number of participants, event venue and programme duration must be agreed in advance.

During the event

  • At least one responsible adult must be present throughout the event. This adult supervises overall order and the children who are not participating in the activity with the dog at a given moment.
  • No other animals may be present in the activity area.
  • Very loud music must not be played during the programme. Sudden, loud noises should also be avoided where possible.
  • Children must follow the host's instructions. Approaching the dog, petting it, feeding it or giving it commands is allowed only with the host's permission.
  • The dog must not be grabbed, lifted, hugged tightly, pulled by the fur, ears or tail, or disturbed while resting.
  • Some activities take place with one child and the dog. During this time, order and safety of the remaining children is supervised by the responsible adult.

The dog's wellbeing and safety

The host has the right to adapt, interrupt or skip an activity if the dog is tired, stressed, or a safety risk arises. If the rules are not followed and the situation cannot be made safe, activities with the dog may be discontinued.

Dogs' health and hygiene

Zoich and Grenka are vaccinated against rabies and regularly receive parasite treatment. Before each event, both dogs are washed and groomed. They take part in events only when they are healthy and feeling well.

Important

The PawParty programme is an educational and entertainment event. It is not therapy or a medical service.

Photographing children and using images in PawParty publicity materials is agreed separately with the parents or the child's legal representative.
